Saw it again yesterday, in imex and 3D.

I honestly think I preferred it in 2D. In 3D the detail seems poorer, I don't know if its because of a limit to the amount of information that can be carried, so if some is used for the 3D less is available for fine detail??

Also with the 3D only the close action is in focus, the back ground is blurry. To me this has the affect of making it feel less real and more like animation. I felt as though the director was telling me where to look, instead of me pleasing myself.

Don't get me wrong it was a fantastic visual experience, but I found the 2D more absorbing and real feeling.

Good to hear fellas . I thought it was just me . Is nice to respect the trees . I often think when I,m on a big tree if any body famous has had a wee on it  I did once find an old knife and fork in a cavity a good 45 / 55ft up an old Oak ?

At Gettysburg some years ago, I remember walking past a large Oak that had a sign by it stating ''Abraham Lincoln walked past this tree''. Made me chuckle and wonder what he got up to by any other trees further on the walk!
