Well that makes a change from correcting what you assumed in an earlier post was an incorrectly spelt word (it was not) with two failed editing attempts with made up words. :D Whats next? Words with two syllables? The worlds your Oyster now Eggy.

I wonder why we can't get decent people. Maybe because we can't last 6 pages before decending into the same tired crap as usual. I would want more that 200 to sit in a van with you lot!

Can you live there year round? Many 'Hytter' in Norway do not allow permanent residence, might be different in Sweden though? I know many Norwegians have Hytters in Sweden as its much cheaper to live than in Norway and obviously because its very beautiful there as well.  Just make sure its no where near Malmö. ;)

I don't know actually. I would need to check. It's not a serious proposition as a sole residence anyway. We will however buy one in the coming years though so that when we go to visit family over there, we've a permanent base. It could be a bit easier to get to, but it's lovely once you're there.

People don't leave if the boss man, terms and pay are right, why would they?,  I'm sure you are a decent fella, Al, But you seem to be  doing  something wrong, you are always looking for staff after someone's jacked..

No, you are completely wrong Eggs. As usual.

People jacking on you all the time, no.

It depends upon many factors Eggs. Like,
How long someone was destined to stay for from the start.
Being unfortunate to be lied to by people at ‘interview’ stage.
A business growing.

Too many variables for you to make a judgement on.

Good staff are hard to find, and even harder to keep.
All we can do is try our best to keep getting the work in and hope that they stay with you, but of course they know what their mates get kitchen fitting or roof tiling .
Unless you’re gonna start forking out £30 an hour all you can do is try to keep them at whatever rate you can afford, or let them go, and try to train up the next unlikely candidate that slopes into the yard 15 minutes late on their first Monday morning.

Tim, are you suggesting the money is there but you don't want to fork it out ?

every one moans about young lazy youths etc, are there not people in their 30,s 40,s with a bit of experience and a better more steady work ethic around???

might have to  pay them a bit more but might be worth it as apposed to continually looking for and changing staff.
