You literally wrote ‘everyone’s done it’

Nope!

What I literally wrote is...

'A bit of a blag is a bit of a blag. Everyone's done it. Paying someone £40 so they have no incentive to not screw the system is low. It screws them, it screws the tax payer, it screws other competing companies who NEED to charge more. There is no upside or positive thing you can say about the logic of it. '

As most people could appreciate, I am making a distinction between a bit of a blag, which everyone has done, and the issue that I'm discussing taking exception to.

I have far less problem with someone blagging the dole as I do with someone using another persons disadvantageous situation to unethically advance their own position, at the "literal" disadvantage to all other members of society.

To hammer my point.... When in desperate times people do desperate things, and they justify them in all sorts of ways. This employer is not desperate, yet he exploits others who for whatever reason are not so fortunate.

My only advise to those who employ people on the dole would be to make sure that your employers liability is up to date... people like that also tend to be the sort who might suddenly get a bit of a twinge in their back when they need a few extra quid if you know what I’m saying.

Steve, did you get another quote?

Give us your definition of ‘a bit of a blag’ Then, this thing that everyone (which by definition includes you ) has done.

Why? You just take up too much time going round in circles. I've explained myself to hell. Figure it out.

I can see a business opportunity involving 2 lads from Cumbria, megabus tickets to Suffolk, and a pallet of used block paving. :vollkommenauf:
