I like the teufelberger Sirius bull rope. Seems tough and heat ( natural crotch) resistant.
Depends on the weight of the piece bill I smoked one of my sirius bull lines the other day [emoji30]

Do you have another your prefer/ harder wearing? I got some 16mn marlow, which is fine but glazes real easy if rubbing on anything.

Ok serious question: why does nobody use the nasty blue polypropylene line? 14mm thick an your starting to get reasonable SWL. I do quite a bit of natural crotch rigging and I reckon im going to buy some of this stuff and give it a shot. At the price don't need to worry about beating the crap out of it!

£75 for 200m, SWL 800kg

I've watched videos by Graeme McMahon of Sherbrooke Tree Services in Australia, he advocates use of thick polypropylene line as it's stretchy and strong. He also reckons to treat it as disposable and then do natural crotch rigging to save on hauling gear up the trees.

You'll know after untangling it!
That aside I would imagine it could do the job.
We used to use it for roping over movable poly tunnels.. even in short lengths it can be a pain. It's as if it remembers every twist or turn it ever took!
