Dead Creature I Found In A Tree Today :(

As the title suggests really.

 

Was out scarring pigeons off the oil seed raspe today on the Quad bike, stopped next to a small Oak tree to hang a rope banger and found this dead looking thing in the tree. Have absolutely no indeed how it got there. Too high up for it to get caught in flood water etc.

 

Think its a cat but not sure to be honest, only the spine and head left. WIth its fang teeth not sure what else it'd be. Hope it weren't a little dog

Its proper odd, no way it got stuck where it was.....taking the boss down there in the morning as he didnt believe me when i got back to the yard earlier!!

I did consider it being a Badger as the farm is riddle with the buggers but do they climb trees?! I've never seen it myself

Badger. Definately. Don't know what it was doing up there though. Trying to get away from it's TB-ridden mates no doubt.

no they dont, he got scared and couldnt get down, hence his current predicament
