Some fine films being listed.

Personal favourite is probably the only film that Connery and Cane ‘starred’ in together.

Bit dated in terms of the filming and editing and could probably do with a remake, but don’t think any of the current crop could do it justice as a paring.

Saeed Jaffrey as Billy Fish was fantastic in support and nearly stole the show.

anyone admit to being scared of any horrors?

as a kid, The Haunting was one for me. Took years before i would hang my foot or hand out from the bed clothes.

That was when I was superstitious and believed in God.

i found Wicker man disturbing so have never watched the end again but the video did wear out viewing Ekland"s body double (she was heavily pregnant at the time).

That was when I was horny and thought paganism was worth a go.

i remember pissing myself laughing at the Exorcist whilst a Catholic irishman next to me was shitting himself.

i would class the most scary as Blair Witch but i know it is not well thought of. i camp and hunt on my todd in the woods regularly so in that sense it was not that effective but i thought it was clever.

I would love to be scared by something “supernatural” but I’m just too old and cynical.
