If I had the kit, I would mill it. But for now, I have some lumps of beech, fairly good size that are up for grabs if anyone wants them. 

 

The base section is pretty rotten, the other two sections both measure 9' or over and are about 2.5-3' diameter. 

 

The tree had fallen across a slope so could only get it out in 3 sections despite the 14 tonne machine and chain.

Could you not hire in a mobile mill?

I believe with money anything is possible... well almost..... I probably could, its up to the bosses..... LOL!!!!!?

A few from back in the days we could go anywhere and do anything...albeit 2 weeks ago?

Day in the woods on an old beech. sorry looks like some of them have come out fuzzy...
