Some beech, slow job at 32" wide and 2.9m long. Surprising colour in there, bit of red in the heart even.
Farmer is well surprised, nevere seen it done and amazed by the grain, colour etc..

From a milled Ash board the other week brought indoors and kept down the side of the  freezer out of direct heat. The Spalting is lovely.

Needed to get some logs out of the way so made a start on the Burr maple today. Some beautiful boards  though a pain to try and photograph well due to how light toned they currently are.

Started on a decent sized oak today. Haven’t got the 881 out yet. Gonna do the main stick with it. Used a 48” lo pro bar and Chinese 660 to get through the crotch section. About 5’ long and 50” wide at the widest point. Did a few 3” slabs and the rest just over 2.5”.
