Hi Rough.

Looks smashing.

 

One question...Logosol website isn't clear. Is it 2m between log lifters? 4m overall without extras.

Hi Bob,
It’s actually 2.1m between supports and 4m overall length.
Can cut 3.8m long without extras.
Do buy a carriage winch!
Makes it so much better.

Millling London Plane on the Slabber these last few days.  Some very pretty timber for sure, and the widest I have cut since buying the mill in the summer.  Around 5 feet wide at wide end; and four feet at narrow end.  

 

Just got to squirrel them away for a couple of years.

Thank you Saul, yes indeed they are.  Actually I must take some photos of Alder we have been milling lately as well.  Nothing big, but also spectacular in a different way.  Bit like my wife...
