Only a couple of slabs off today. Quite happy with them though. IMG_2607.thumb.jpg.ab962a6297984040d6ce3c1b9905a691.jpgIMG_2602.thumb.jpg.77c4f42b03c9b0ce581c32fdea40acbb.jpgIMG_2606.thumb.jpg.bc6e060a6ee4af955e868f50e7f5b065.jpg

I have 3no 12x12 4m long oak beams and been sat in the shed for 4 years and was thinking about selling them last week.
I'd just really like to know if it's like the mystical black walnut, I'm sure I heard a story about a big oak that was worth £2k a beam and 4 came out of it.

Yeh, the 084 is fair ripping through the log. It was bogging down yesterday and after a quick tune its really gobbling its way though it. Looking forward to trying the skip chain with it maybe tomorrow or the day after.

So I finally got the 881 and the 74" bar into some photo worthy wood (Beech)! 6m long and 78" wide at the biggest point so I spent ages trimming. Overall a good day. Got a good amount of boards out of it, they all came out flat and the customer was very happy 👌IMG-20210506-WA0038.thumb.jpg.036a89329a52ccc6c3f1670e1bb8897e.jpgIMG-20210506-WA0019.thumb.jpg.507bd706b3bb45335f62203ef39cea86.jpgIMG-20210506-WA0010.thumb.jpg.ce7c2828466d3b69e36b3df7a515f2e3.jpgDSC_0502.thumb.JPG.bbf8f27bd0be622352c1ce82271007ee.JPGDSC_0503.thumb.JPG.a27e2f5369a9d866e2f785113e1239d5.JPGDSC_0505.thumb.JPG.580d90043e8c44c2ab33e2836f88bb07.JPGDSC_0506.thumb.JPG.36fd4b5cec5edeb5c53bd87eb963f748.JPG

Big piece of Ash today from a job back in November.

Unfortunately there was only minor Olive wood which I was surprised about and a bit gutted.

Even the bottom trunk section had minimal amount 🙄

1200 at the widest spot and 1380 long by 80 thick.
