Yes, using the right chain lube shows yr considering of the tree's needs and possible age / maturity issues. I could go on at length.... K

No dude ... point I’m trying to make is it can take longer to do a reduction properly than fell a tree and in that case two trees planted at the same time with the same targets fence and road the felling was far quicker.

Perhaps they left out the word sectional?

So line would read its easier to prune a tree than sectional fell.

I wasnt taking the piss - my estimate of 12hrs for me was serious. Matty F has said elsewhere hes done 22 years of it. I wouldnt be surprised if hes at least twice as quick as me. He must be worth a few quid now hes spent the time to get good at something

But it’s not ... unless it’s the logistics of removing arisings sectional felling is a relatively easy skill especially on spikes.
