In your dreams! The 4 mix Stihl polesaw is a superb bit of kit.

Purely from reading and looking at what saws the guys are using in vids the only echo that has made any inroads whatsoever into the pro market is the 2511.

Were running a fair bit of Echo kit, pole saw, ground saws and top handles and when other kit packs in like hedge cutters they will be swapped for Echo, its a bit old skool but that's good, yeah people moan that's its a bit heavy but its a bit heavy for a reason !

Got too agree with this. The larger topper is a cumbersome lump.

People notice the difference between my echo 2511 and the 150 when they use it. I reckon it's class leading.

Not overly impressed with the 2511 carb though...great saws I’ve owned 3 now but they require some fettling which I leave to my dealer.

Fettling? In what way mate? We have 2 and had no problem at all, they need a tune when run in but it’s a simple job with the right tool.

I’ve decided to run mine on motomix or whatever alkalyte is available.

Maybe that’ll help with my ‘afternoon headaches’ I always seem to get.

I had always put it down to the last glass of wine of an evening, or noise, anyway  it’s too early to be certain but three days of use and they seem to have disappeared.

Good move mick, we only use aspen and nobody moans about headaches or stinks of fumes now!

Just a tune up really mate.. last time it was really badly out of tune...that’s what my invoice says ! Suppose I need to get myself an echo tuning screw driver! You forget after using auto tune that they do need a bit of adjustment now and then.. used to have those orange stihl screw drivers hidden every where when running 020’s!
