Echo could be The professional brand soon, have lost patience with Stihl, our latest polesaws look like they came from Toys are Us. K

In your dreams! The 4 mix Stihl polesaw is a superb bit of kit.

Purely from reading and looking at what saws the guys are using in vids the only echo that has made any inroads whatsoever into the pro market is the 2511.

Yr not wrong Mr Stubby, only 4mix Stihl I have had my hands on, failed on cam . But glad Dempsey got a good one. Top handle Echoes are sound unlike 201 which was made to fail. K

Yr making too much cash out of 201 ' factory upgrades' ;) k

( like it should have been fixed at the factory !)

I'm not making any cash out of a 201 as I don't have one mate ! Got a T 540 with all the mods though . Don't get used much now . ?

I noticed the same issue on my 390, though not so bad I had to return it. The seal is a rather large piece of rubber. I guess it swells up a bit and makes it difficult to open. I just use less tension when I close it now and it works fine.
