Had a jogger run past the " footpath closed sign , round the cones , then vault the red and white plastic barrier , jog through the " kill zone " then fall flat on his face trying to vault the plastic barrier at the other end .  What can you do ?

Me too, here in Liffre. Full road closure, diversions in place.

Council gave us the barriers and an official 'arret municipal' permissions.

Jogger vaults the barriers just as a chog bounces past him.

Teenager also tried his luck and petulantly called his Father to get us to let him through.

We spoke to the Father later and he apologised for his son.

Old people "but I walk my dog here every day"...

Another job out West and a British tourist and his family in a Freelander, up the pavement, onto the bank and gets bitch slapped by a leylandii.

Didn't stop to pick up his passenger wingmirror either.

That is shocking to watch, rope  is across junction as well.

Maybe felled away from lean as man hole cover and did not want to hit it but not bothered about the odd car or cyclist .

to me looks like the better way would be to use the branches as a crash mat so you don't damage the road or footpath and section it down, takes a bit longer but noones getting hurt

maybe the chainsaw operative is thinking this way too now

It's hard to understand how they ever thought that that would work!

The bloke with the saw looks completely unconcerned afterwards when he walks out into the road, I'm not convinced he was even aware that a cyclist had had such a near miss.

Unbelievable!
