This is crap mate.

I've been done 3 times in 2 years, first time plod said it wouldn't be something they'd be bothered with, third time they said it's not something their interested in, no but they're interested in sitting on their backside in a warm van for a couple of hours pointing speed cameras at you.

Even had a full finger & hand print and we were told they no longer send out SOCO for businesses that work from home.

CCTV is no good because scubags know to hide their faces.

Insurance went from £800 - £2300 after second break in, couldn't afford to claim after the last one.

F&&king scumbags sorry to hear this police are a waste of time,i got the same shit when mine got nicked, crime number and all that shit might as well not bother telling em

Yeah, I agree, Police were hopeless when I got my trailer nicked. Didn’t even visit the yard, was even more annoyed when I found out a few months later that the trailer had been lying in ditch in a car park only 6 miles away for 4 days after the theft.

they pulled me over a few months later for not wearing a seatbelt. 8 coppers all standing alongside of the road pulling people in. I was towing a trailer, i made the point that I was glad they had managed to find so many bodies to cover this task yet no hint of help when I needed them. Easy pickings comes to mind.

Another bug bear- I hadnt insured my trailer, glad I hadn’t too as since found out from insurance co that it wouldn’t have been covered since it wasn’t in a locked compound. So saved wasting my money with them. Sorry to the OP- stuff like this really shouldn’t be happening, but it does and we just have to keep going in what ever way you can and try and take whatever measures to prevent it happening again. All the best.

So the police now or less decide what is a crime and what isn't? And they wonder why people have so little faith in them. When I got stopped for no seat belt I asked if the officer honestly thought that it was the best use his time. Directive from the  Chief Superintendent! Remind who funds them again!
