Lots of the bastards round my way ATM disc cutting into vans and waking neighbourhoods unloading in minutes. Nothing 1 man woken at 3am can do about 2-5 men with tools/ weapons ready to steal and fight.

So.... since harsh language is practically illegal in this country now and these babies are NOT....

Was thinking bat in 1 hand in case they were very brave and came running and just aim low. These will hurt and pierce flesh. I wouldn't want to sacrifice a bollock for 2nd hand value tools....

Thoughts!

It's just I leave my billhooks, machetes, parangs and bow by the front door it's convenient.
However,
three years ago I went out at midnight to confront thieves breaking into a mates shed.
I took a big stick over a bladed item.
Caught the kid.
Yeah I was scared it could have been several geezers.
If I'd had a crossbow, at night. Might be writing this from inside though.

There's no point in a gun, they get away and you will be the one with armed response around your house.

Even if you weren't there...

Was that you I saw backed into a driveway in Wormingford this morning?
