No I am not talking about the 3 in 1 sharpener which is good but the glasses!

Always been pretty pleased with my sharpening but I have got to that age where the sight is not what it was. Been in denial for a bit and only used the glasses for reading but finally succumbed to them for sharpening and have to admit I should have started using them some time ago. Saws and processor are cutting markedly better so a cheap investment haha

This happened to me 10 years ago.

Takes the guess work out of it.

I get a dozen pairs at a time from the pound shop.

They go walkies a lot.

You'll be having that trouble where you need to put a pair of glasses on to find your glasses....

They’re almost always in the vans or by the bed.

I take mine off to sharpen, mind you been wearing them since I was 12, now 56

Me too for short sight  but I found I needed reading glasses as well at about 50. Now in good light I can pass the driving test without glasses but need something a bit stronger than reading glasses for close in work.

I get the poundshop glasses too. Keep meaning to go to the opticians but it keeps slipping down the hierarchy of things to get done. X 1.5 magnification is perfect for sharpening and doing LOLER checks.
