Spring is finally here ?

Just seen my first swallow of the year which has surprised me somewhat as its 7 days early and we had a few inches of snow here at the beginning of the week.

Hazel in leaf . Grass growing like a goodun . Ducks all paired up . Not seen a swallow or house marten yet though !

No swallows yet but a chap in village said he saw one this week but i have got a blackbird sitting on 5 eggs which is nice

I've seen black bird and duck egg shells on the ground here .....

Wren is building a nest in our lean to and I saw a Bumble bee and a brown butterfly today. No leaves about yet though.
