First day at work yesterday, driving a friend's Malwa. It's all subtly different to home from a work perspective, but the ability to take lunchtime and evening swims in different lakes whilst snacking on blueberries is new!

You need to get yourself one of those Blueberry scoops the Scandinavians use. Brilliant at harvesting them.

I was just this minute discussing that with my friend. Loads of lingonberries here too.

Aren't thoose Bilberries rather than blueberries?

I would say so just because of where they are . I think most blue berries are cultivated . They both look like each other but can taste different . The wild bilberries being slightly sharper .

We call them Blaeberries in Scotland,  Guffies call them Bilberries. The article below says they're the same genus.

This time of year our volunteers come across a little blue berry in the nature reserve, known to Scots as the blaeberry, a sweet and tasty fruit.
