I still prefer the old style husky hat, the rain flaps don't last long it's true, but the hats are simple and comfortable enough. Actually, find the head band part more comfortable than the jazzy technical one is. If you drill the blanks out at the top it gives a puny amount of ventilation, whether it is noticeable or not...

Hi I use a still expert, vented, seems comfortable got good ear defenders as well, on my second one now as first one fell out of the back window of the tractor then some arshole backed over it , quite surprised at how it stood up to it thou .put rain flap on back and seems OK. Buy anothere tomorrow .

AC Balance is all you need. No fuss.
And don’t wear your climbing helmet cutting in the woods, it’s not what they are designed for and you look a complete bell end!

What makes a forestry helmet a forestry helmet and a climbing helmet a climbing helmet?
