It is that one. I saw it when I'd just finished building a snowman. Some weird bloke came past on a winged horse at the same time.

Looked out of the window this morning and something was obviously bothering the geese, they were all together and all watching the same thing. It was a big fox trit-trotting along the fenceline to their field.

He wasn't interested in the geese and didn't even look in their direction from 15 yards away. (this time)

 

I walked round the corner soon after and the gate to their field had blown wide open in the night (VF+ windy here last night)

One our regular foxes came visiting early last night. One of the cats was hiding and as the fox passed, the cat pounced on it and smacked it on the head

 

Fox scarpered with its tail between its legs & the cat strolled  nonchalantly to the foxes bowl and started eating its food.

 

We watched for a few minutes, the fox came back into the garden, keeping its distance until we called the cat in, then it cautiously came down to its own bowl to eat.

I never realized fox's were so timid..   nice to hear your fox is still making a visit. the one I had in the house has been back since but scarpered out the outhouse when I went to look at it..    I put a meat pie out for it, but its a toss up who gets it, the fox or the cat...

 

and to think I used to worry about the cat being eaten by a fox at one time as well.....
