Too big? Too small?

Big, the two wrap arounds are standard, there’s a sort of T bar on top of them.

Don’t know if too big though.

The extra weight is only 80kg. MultiOne the manufacturer have said on top of the normal factory supplied backlights of 180kg you can put an extra 200kg on top of this if required on the 6.3. (Have not been quoted on other models) the chassis, pivot etc is the same as the higher models so no issues regarding structure.

It’s not for helping sales as it’s a hire/demo machine people are always over lifting things this has been added to help combat any problems that users may have.

If you are trying to sell one it a good idea makes it more stable.

Surely if it makes it more stable that’s better isn’t it?

Yes, I guess it does depend on how tight space you have to work in. Been thrilled with the Gehl which makes our compact tractor look clumsy around the yard but the Multione will undoubtedly be even more maneuverable. One thing I really did not like about it though is the way the cab swings out over the rear end when turning. Sure there is a good reason for it but it makes it need more space then you would expect when driving in a shed.

There is a good set of videoes on loaders but they are hard to find but here is the intro one. My Gehl is next one down from the one in this

MultiOne also do traditional style rear mounted cab it’s called the sd series. The 9 series will lift a 2 ton pallet at full extent at lorry height.
