He he, cheers guys. I'll spare you the properly gorey pics. A home water birth and the cleaning of the aftermath is a pretty bloody affair! If you do ever 'dispose' of a person I highly recommend you do it outside!

WTF, don't tell me you drank that crap, I mean you fed it to your wife/partner...FFS

Yep, blitz about two ice cubes worth into a smoothie each day till it's gone.
After our first my wife had severe post natal depression, lasted about two years, and very nearly tore our family apart.
Consuming the placenta (like most mammals, even herbivores, do - we are animals after all) raw is said to help balance hormones etc lost, and to help restore physical and emotional wellbeing in the mother. This worked with our 2nd and 3rd, so why not try it with our 4th too. And I honestly don't care if it is all just a placebo, there's no harm in trying!

Has it ever crossed your mind that animals might want to eat their placenta to be rid of it to avoid rotting flesh where their young are?...

Wouldn't want to attract the attention of roaming scavengers would they, nothing to do with the value of meat available to eat...

Which brings me to your geographic location, any alligators live nearby? any lions or dangerous black bears?..

Seems to me you've fed your wife her placenta under the false assumption it might do her some good...  why I feel it won't do her any harm, at least if your gonna feed it to the poor girl, you could of married it up with some onions an fried the damned thing up..

You sir have obviously never had to deal with post natal depression, believe me if it seems to work you will try it as I wouldn't wish it on any family, coupled with ptsd from wrongly being told our 2nd would be luck to make 3 years ( he's now 6 and doing well) my support lies firmly with sloth on this one.
