Is it LWB, SWB, crew cab, chassis cab............?

The one ton bag isn't a scam ??

I sell by the bag and my bags are 85x85x85

All my customer are aware of this, selling by the bag is the most accurate way for the customer to get the volume of logs they want

Its not a scam unless you lie about the volume like some others around my area. I occassionally get it pointed out by a potential customer who bought two cubic metre bags for £50 ea which makes my 2cu metre load overpriced by £45.

They are not cubic metre bags they are tonne bags when used with aggregate not logs.

But if they bought 1 cube for £100 then I am £65 cheaper

People worry far too much..

I sell my logs at £70 a cu/m however the customer gets them, whether it be in a .5 or a .7 or a .8 builders bag or in a transit, landrover or sooty van load.

Simplest way is to tell the customer it so much a cubic metre, let them work it out, if they cant then stuff em :001_smile:

The ONLY way to sell logs is by the cubic metre. Its not hard to work out the volume of ANY vehicle or bag. I always tell my customers that anyone trying to sell logs by he tonne are probably selling wet logs and tell them to bring along their moisture meter to show the moisture content before they tip them on the floor. I always take my moisture tester and am always happy to test a few logs for the buyer before tipping them up. I sell what i tell them on the phone :deal:
