Leaving back tipped

I've got a new back on my Transit which I'm very pleased with.

It does, however, seem to retain water a bit more than the old one.

Are there any implications to the ram etc. just leaving it slightly tipped when parked up?

Comments from both hydraulic experts and timewasters welcome.

shouldnt be a problem there at all just remember to let it down when driving. if the hydraulic system is sound it will not fall overnight, my only concern would be safety for children e.g. place your fingers in the gap while i play with the remote

It's kept on a dead level parking bay.

Not so much retaining water, it seeps through a couple of holes where the fold down lashing points are in the bed, which is filling the tipper frame with water, and leaching out all over the sub-frame.

I've now siliconed the holes, but want to give run-off an easy route out in future.
