How much to rent your yard

We have a 60x40 ft secure unit on a farm with electric and water and a 60x40 ft yard for logs and woodchip next to our unit and pay 175 a week plus leccy 24hr access .

I would if I could, but he won't sell as I 0 yrs I reckon it will be sold for houses, am looking for a place to buy but there like hens teeth.

I've got a smallholding and if you've got neighbours nearby, inevitably you'll get a complaint however friendly they seem

 

I got reported for keeping commercial vehicles at home in one of my fields, a tractor and 6 tonne digger!! Enforcement officer is coming out next week. Thankfully both the tractor and digger are used for maintaining my property so there won't be an issue but don't underestimate the vindictiveness of neighbours once they get sniffy about things

why would you get reported for having a tractor on a small holding ???

£250 a year. I spent two years searching for a yard at the right price with no luck then this one came up:thumbup:

Take it and make it pay for itself by using the space for logs, chip, mulch to sell out which you'd otherwise be giving away or worse paying to get rid of.

And then get reported for change of use of land etc etc etc etc . Someone will dob you in . People are like that sometimesc.
