Love all of the different jobs I do...

Tree work. Public relations work, rehab type work. Charity fundraising and business development.

Despite the fact it can be hard work, physically and mentally demanding, I wouldn't want to swap it with anything else.

I've thought about it a bit and I'll elaborate.

 

Climbing, felling, grinding, all that stuff I've been doing for a long time. It's ok, can be fun but it's all a bit routine now.

 

What I really enjoy is the business, going out on a Saturday afternoon, pricing a half dozen or so jobs. Chatting with a new client, listening and discussing with them what (I think!) they want.

Getting the OK, doing the job using all the machinery then driving home, leaving a happy client who has presented me with a nice big cheque.

That still gives me a buzz.
