Duck oil

I'm giving all my kit a bit of a birthday before heading into the New Year.

Duck oil seems to be be the recommended choice for lubing carabiners, graphite powder and WD40 getting the thumbs down.

Do any of the suppliers on here stock it? It's not obvious on any web sites.

You are a bad man H :)

For all you tightwads out there one litre of veg oil mixed with 10% acetone is a home made heavier version of maintenance oil. Veg oil is about £1 a litre and acetone about £6 a litre . You can play with the ratio a bit and use it in one of those hand held sprayers . That works out at about £1.60p a litre which makes those spray cans look very expensive.

I have started to use Rye oils own brand , they call it easing oil but its basically maintenance fluid. Seems good but its early days so the jury are still out.
