Sky tv so poor over christmas, best alternative?

We just had free Sky for a year but other than a couple of programs it was a waste of time and wont be renewing when it costs money.

The £20 is the set up fee and a years " gift " . So everything you can get on Sky , BT , Kodi , Mobro , PPV etc etc etc for Initial box cost and £20 / year . Some people use 2x servers as a back up .

We've got Sky, Apple TV, BT Sport subscription and a Firestick.

I have no idea why as we only watch a few things and the BTSport is only for MotoGP etc.

All a waste of money IMO unless you watch tons of telly.

Mmmm . Dunno . Its best to wire it with ethrenet cable strait from your router rather than the wifi . Thats all I know at the moment . This is the set up my friend has .

Done away with it as mostly repeats, Now if i feel the need to watch anything i have a chipped box that accesses everything although i still pay for netflix on 6 screens for the household about £7 a month.

at least you get alot of channels, over here 150 for tv license for 12 months for 9 channels, free view is better and rte is ****

Did anyone else find themselves channel surfing over Christmas? we pay about £55 a month for sky and its useless, can't get virgin round here but was considering the BT tv? whats the verdict:confused1:

Do away with SKY . Get a Zgemma box and live stream everything to your TV . All Sky channels , BT sport etc etc etc . Price of box plus a one off payment of something like £20 for the " gift " ( setting up box and loading Sky menu page ) Box about £150 .

 

Do they have versions with hard drive like skyplus? So you can record on them

get your self a kodi stick for all your on demand tv shows start with breaking bad ,games of thrones and dexter !!should keep you going for a few weeks
