so how much does eggs pay his drain cleaner helpers?

We do a bit more than drain cleaning, and I don't employ anyone now. A good subbie with tickets would be between £150-200/day.

I had a subbie tree climber in earlier in the year, he was £170/day.

Too me tickets are only part of it.If someone is a great worker with a genuine interest in arboriculture id pay them more than a person with the relevant groundie tickets but doesnt give a toss about pulling his weight or furthering themselves.

Now if i said that i would have a load of arseholes jump down on me! Though not sure in employed rates

I have realised now that the lads at 80.00 a day arnt much cop at all. Once of a day a lad at 80.00 a day would be good, now theyre fresh out of college and crap.

This is a great subject for eggs, he'll be along shortly :D

£80 on the books is plenty, I pay my subbie groundie that (no tickets)

well I can see why you're only partially interested in tree work then, if your current job can support that

Subbie groundie with basic tickets gets 95, can't believe I've been sucked into this well worn, over debated, use the search function
