Warning to those selling firewood in suffolk

Just a heads up, had someone ring up today enquiring about firewood. He was suspiciously keen to know exactly where my yard was and what's level of stock I kept regards to bagged logs even though he wanted to buy by the cubic meter. Could be wrong and he could of been genuine but I just had a real bad feeling about the whole thing. It seemed like he may be looking to pay someone's wood yard a late night visit.

had a phone call like that where was the yard when did we close etc then a car ran 3 red lights to harrass me up the duel carriageway before he wrote his car off on my rear bumper police were not too impressed with him either never did find out what his issue was though.

Be aware of council scouts too, active in Essex . Large log processor on farm near us just been stung 20k back business rates, that's how they initially made contact with him posing as customer & asking lots of questions

I find that very hard to believe, they must be in a very big way, as business rates can only go back 12months.
