12. Hi , looks like going to be short this season, anybody could give me price for lorry load preferably Ash but hardwood cordwood up to 16" delivered to north Essex please.
 13. The white wood splits lovely but the dark centred bits are very stringy , reckon got about 12 ton of it ! Hope it will dry hard OK to sell.
 14. Thanks for replies, was getting a panic on !! In some bits the very centre about the size of a finger nail has gone pithy & there's a green line on the edge of the dark wood with the white on some bad bits , thought perhaps it was diseased & would just rot rather than drying out, it is very wet almost oozing in the centre but then it was only felled 2 weeks ago. Splitting it into ventilated bags which will stored outside so hopefully a good summer & Autumn with plenty wind should dry it out !
 15. Evening all, bought in 20ton fresh felled Beech/sycamore/elm/Ash. Bit quiet at the moment so thought I'd get some cut & split so hopefully speed up drying in the hope some might be ready to go after Xmas. But got of a shock, any ideas what this got be ?? Run right through middle of most of it & really wet. Don't know if it will dry out or rot !!
 16. Any ideas on what a ton equates to to in m3 cut/split & ready to sell ?? For instance how many m3 processed into ibc's ready to go would you get from 25ton delivered Ash/sycamore cord ?? Thanks.
 17. Hi Steve, are you still looking for work for your processor?? I'm Saffron Walden area looking for some help.
 18.

Hello, my names Mick just wondered if you still did firewood processing . I'm in my first year supplying firewood & can't justify a processor of my own yet . I'm based just outside Saffron Walden, wondered if you would travel this far & cost. How much do you do in a day? Would be looking for you to fill ibc cages & 1m3 vented bags, all hardwood in about 2m lengths.

Many thanks

Mick Frost.
