Finding drink bottles, cans and general rubbish put on the back with the chip.

Chipping the perfect push stick that i made for the chipper.

As said before, leaving things on site or forgetting tools that are needed.

Not so much guys, but customers that miraculously appear just as you're finishing off and ask " Oh, whilst you're here could you just do loads of extra work that I didn't mention when you first quoted, and of course I'll not be paying you any more for it", or words to that effect!:sneaky2:

Anyone that see's me working in full PPE with guards and screens in place that thinks it is somehow safe to wander up and take a look over or around them to see how the machine works whilst not even wearing as much as a set of safety glasses!!!!:confused1:

People pissing (or worse!) in customers gardens. Not a good impression to make if you get caught!:sneaky2:

I just say that I'm trying to get a tan on it.

It has become customary for youngsters in modern times to spit all over the shop.

What a filthy disgusting habit that is, and I tell them so too.

And anybody gobbling out in view of a customer is told to consider his future working for me.

Or dissappearing when its time to get weighed in.

Anyone wrestling a stupidly oversized branch into chipper that is never gonna go through and will probably only result in jamming or damaging chipper. Oh well they dont have to pay for it do they!!

Great thread, only been in industry a few months but i'll add..

-Suddenly dropping logs/loads that your both carrying without any warning.

-Clocking off after finish time while the rest of the gang clear the yard. (many hands .. light work...)

-Throwing tools all over the bench and NOT in the toolbox atleast.

-Mugs, cups, wrappers, bags, banana peels on tool bench...

-Not reporting faulty equipment or vehicles because "If I don't report it, it's not my fault".
