Annoying Things Guys Do On Site

Working on an old stone cottage today, arrived before the lads and noticed someone had left a ladder standing from yesterday evening (to fix a down pipe). The ladder was upside down. This did not surprise me, and got me thinking of all the different sites and jobs I have works on where guys wilfully used ladders upside down. Is there something going on that I missed? Is there an advantage to upside down? Its not a case of accidentally deploying the tool the wrong way, I think there is really a belief out there that upside down is better...

 

Anyway, who else gets peeved by this, and what other weird behaviours have you been annoyed by over the years?

Sounds like nothing but I can't relax if someone is looming over me.

They left it like that because they know it pees you off Advantage is you can't fall down the ladder if you use it upside down;)

Just the usual everyday stuff like move the ladder, don't fill up on the lawn, basically everything I told you yesterday and the day before and the week before that[emoji17]

Poor rope management when rigging and leaving kit scattered about the place like a mad woman's s**t! Those two get me mad, I have to breathe deep and count to ten.

Yes kit stays in one place out the way so nothing can get lost or miss placed as they call it

Evan worse is if one of the team doesn't stop pacing up n down.

 

My other pet hate is facebook etc when working. Nowt against phones in moderation but going off every 10seconds because some one farted or made a sandwich is just beyond me:thumbdown:

When people leave my climbing bag open in the pissing rain. If I could get away with wrapping a soaking wet rope around there head I would. But it's slow breathing counting to 10 as well for me.
