looking good

how do you do the rim bit

i keep breaking bits off or little splinters

sorry if that derails

 

I use my parting tool to put a groove in the face of the wood so when you put your gouge in it doesn't slip out and brake the edge (if it makes sense) If not i'll post pics if you want??

 

Not derailed If i can help or advise anyone i'll try ??
