Schiesling anvils are super easy to turn or change. There is a single bolt that holds a plate over a wedge that retains the anvil. You remove the bolt, plate and wedge. Then screw the threaded bar on the end of the chipper blade changing tool and pull the anvil out.

Takes about 3 minuets in total.

Same as Jensen.

People also forget the small side anvils too!

Entec anvils are a bugger to change.

I did mine recently when I had to remove the feed roller on mine. Remove the hopper, remove the roller box. Try and undo bolts holding bottom anvil, round off bolts. Drilled head out on one bolt. Tried to drill out head on other. No drill I had would touch it. Ended up having to grind down through the anvil to take the head off the bolt. Side anvil not so bad. One bolt unscrewed. And the othe drilled out easy.

Give GreenMech a call on 01789 400044 and talk to Jason! Off memory, if you are lucky, clean out the Allen headed bolts using a pointy thing through the blade holes, shock them with small punch/hammer then undo with an Allen key! If you are unlucky, remove rotor, puddle weld a nut to c/s bolt and und with spanner! Fit new bearings while rotor is out and ask to borrow the alignment tool if your hydraulic pump is mounted on the alloy housing.....
