Righht, so when the people smugglers start dumping the bodies of shot Brits in the sand dunes then what?.

They aren't just stealing little Timmies lilo.

I did think that after posting - my guess is even the French police are afraid of that.

Say to France 'for billions, millions can we have our navy seals do the drone surveilance and rib slashing. France knows our forces would only be there for migrants, not to take the throne.

The guy who wants to replace Macron has said he'd change the law to allow us to push back into French waters. My feeling is the Navy would object. But they are not civilians so how can they?

Granted the police are basically the military.

A low rent solution is just ban all inflatables other than Timmy's lilo and change all laws to say if your vessel is stolen more than once for smuggling it's immediately destroyed at your expense.

???? You would have thought that would have been mentioned here wouldn't you given the intense scrutiny channel crossings receive on this arborists forum.

Well, I'm guessing you don't have a window in your home office and even the deliveroo driver maybe puts the food in the front porch.

But the weather's been a bit against them FFS.

Exactly. Four weeks with no arrivals is rather a long time. Makes one think there is a certain bias to the AT news service.

I wonder how many legal immigrants arrived from India in that time period? Enough to make a little Mumbai I'll bet. Those post Brexit trade agreements are the dogs dangles.

Storm !

Posted (edited)

Storm wasn't for 4 weeks!

At the same time, legal migration, the ones actually coming to steal our jobs has fallen in the last year, from the 600k the Tories left to 200k now. Well done Labour.

EDIT:

In the last 7 years there have been bigger storms, storms that have lasted longer, worse weather than the last 4 weeks, this is why this is newsworthy. Bigger and worse storms didn't affect the small boat crossings for as long.
