Criticism all depends on what you say - the laws are generally not biased though the implementation might be, and some might be more tolerant to criticism than others. Say "I think that is a stupid idea" - about any of them you aren't going to be arrested, but add a side portion of racism (which can be against the law), certain discrimination (again could be illegal) and you are crossing a fine line sometimes (and the fact that some religions tend to be practiced by whites and some by Asians that fine line could be crossed depending on what you say and the religion in question). But the law isn't biased.

The I side with Big J though and will often ask "which god"... flusters some.

Well I think all religion is fundamentally stupid, destructive and harmful. Some more than others, but they're all in the same ballpark.

You're born, you live, you try not to be a prick*, you die, you're wormfood. Such is life.

*Well, some of us 😁

Exactly, all organised religions are bad, why descriminate!

On a side note; I've just heard that there's a bit of an outcry amongst Radio 4 listeners because Ramadan is being featured on The Archers currently. Good Lord! More Wokification.

The archers is about 15 years late for cancelling. Old days were dull but sensible, now is just sensational bs and a detachment from family reality.

You're quite right, it's meant to be "An everyday story of country folk". You'll have to write in and complain Gareth, get it cancelled right off.

They wouldn't listen to me, don't think they even listen to the archers forums.

Richard Dawkins best watch out then! I'm fairly sure that you won't get arrested for just criticising Islam or any religion for that matter.

Don’t hold your breath…. I can’t get the link to upload, but last month a man was arrested in Manchester for burning a Qran in public.  You try to find an example of someone being arrested for burning a Bible…

I wouldn’t defend doing such a stupid and offensive thing, but I thought we had free speech in the UK.  The crime of blasphemy was removed from the statute books in 2008.
