100% 42,

Next they will be enforcing restrictions on public gatherings, shutting pubs and places where people gather to socialise. Keeping families apart. Stopping people travelling, restricting kids education, state sponsored propaganda encouraging the use of experimental  vaccination in the name of restoration of personal freedoms. Silencing those whom disagree with the state line. Utilising the full weight and power of the state to enforce draconian measures in the name of “ public safety”

Yep you have to be aware of what’s going on around you  as you say, strange you have just mentioned it since Trump won 👍

Nah ND. You've failed to understand as per usual.

Guess you're on about Covid yet again.

Either you've misunderstood history or you're seeking to make political capital again by equating the horrors of the Holocaust with your own little bugbears. Seriously? I'm sure you stated recently that you were compassionate beyond belief.

If you still think that Covid, (the world's response to it specifically), is the greatest existential threat that we face then I'm afraid that you are very much mistaken. Again. You should look back over your reams and reams of "contributions" on your threads. Much of it is perceived very much as "othering", of the unsubtle variety no less. That way lies horror.

as they say, when the US sneezes, the world wipes their noses. Which is what is worrying, and can be seen above in this thread how idolising The Rapist is blinding people to repeat of history.

I don't go down the Nazi / WW2 path often but on the anniversary of 80 years of Auschwitz it is a fitting lesson to look back at history and the rhetoric of the Nazi party.. to how it started.. divide and conquer... and how it ended.

Preventing that is a fight worth fighting. To me this stems from a basic respect that a person is a person regardless of race, colour, religious, sexuality wealth or birthright. No one is born better or worse than any other. We're just born. Hatred is a thing we learn, and is a thing we pass on to our children.

just a lesson to look to history to see our future.

Well SP it’s looking like Kissinger is in our midst. Talking of division and hatred between people, I’ve done two tours of NI and a UN tour on the green line between the Turkish and Greek parts of Cyprus, very little of what I see nowadays bears any resemblance to what I saw there. Your speech references Trump right at the beginning, you were more than happy with divide and conquer when Biden was the president or when ludicrous rules were being enforced here. Imo the subject is way way too complicated to understand or comprehend here but there’s a lot of politicians over the last 20-30 years up to present day who have enforced ideological, social and economic policies over a variety of countries that combined with recent mass immigration into Western Europe,  post destabilisation of the Middle East etc has contributed significantly to the divisions we see today. The Likes of Merkel and Blair etc are not without blame. You may be right and things may well kick off at some point, I’d suggest you and a few others get around a bit more then you will realise this is one of the most tolerant countries in the world. But people will only have the piss taken out of them for so long before it starts to chafe a bit.

No 42 there’s nothing really enlightening to understand, your double standards are something else’. Absolute garbage and quite frankly blatant lying. No one compared the holocaust to anything, that’s pure standard 42 twisting BS. You don’t want to see anything other than your own views and never have, you are ok with anything that aligns with your views and beliefs and won’t budge , the intolerance of the left is no better than the intolerance of the right.
We saw much of what you warn of but you were fine with it as it aligned with your views.
Strange if you want to mention political capital you didn’t call out another member for quoting a child murder recently then 42 🤷‍♂️at least try and be consistent. Where did I say covid was an existential threat ??. Don’t start lying and making things up eh, we have been down that road and it literally makes it all pointless.

Facts you mean I presume in regards the below comment. We’ve already witnessed the horror on far far too many occasions here in the UK as well you know. There’s a few on here who have a lot to say about Israel defending itself too, normally the same ones who hate or won’t acknowledge the hard fact that 95% of terrorist deaths in the UK over the past 25 years  have been by Islamist perpetrators. So spare me the moral high ground routine.

othering", of the unsubtle variety no less. That way lies horror.

So if it/he/she meets a mirror image and starts cheating with it/she/he that's going to be one very messy divorce getting 50% of everything.

Did you consummate the marriage, yes but it/he also slept with the bridesmaid/bestman whatever.
