The version and its application issued initially will be very different to the version 5-10 years down the line. Opposite buds fit the bill (ha!). I really don't know for sure, I reckon acer is a good shout. Bark looks like Rosaceae of sorts, or Lime, possibly even alder, but the buds don't fit the last two.
