  14. Yesterday’s job was a sycamore on a bank beside a moat. Pretty straightforward apart from the stem logs that we couldn’t drop because of a bridge and uplight at the base, and couldn’t risk them bouncing into the moat. As they got heavier they couldn’t be wrestled into the cage as it sent the weight limit over. Cracked off with a keeper rope, second man bailed out the cage then turned the MEWP into a crane. Worked really well. Not massive, about 50kg. Lovely spot. Joseph Conrad’s old house. IMG_0003.mov IMG_0006.mov

  20. All the best with it Pete. Morning all. Been a quick week, gone in a blur of storm damage. Bit of a change next week with a big willow to remove then a course to go on. Got my mates hedge to cut today, hopefully get the worst of the chores done too and make Sunday a lazy one. Have a good one folks.
  21. Widow to fight for change over husband's 'senseless' tree death BBC.COM Fiona Hall calls for regular safety inspections after husband Chris was killed by a falling branch. Just watched this on the news, unsure whether it’ll come to anything.
  22. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c205g21n1zzo I've been waiting to hear about this as I was invited to be part of the trial in the UK. The UK results should hopefully confirm the US results and we will have better and earlier diagnosis of cancer. Great news !
