  4. They should be able to back probe the injector plug with a NOID light when running and check power to the injector is as it should be. You can't see power at the injector with a traditional volt meter.

  13. And then there's those people who simply relabel the Β£30 saw and sell it at a closer price to the Β£530 saw. the old saying of "you get what you pay for" isn't as accurate as it once was.

Don't worry I will.πŸ‘ Its currently one of these filters, fine metal gauze with a blue sponge inside, both parts washable in soapy water. If I can get it to seal properly now, I will replace like-for like.
  15. I think its to do with price . If you ask them to make a saw for Β£30 they will . If you ask them to make a saw for Β£530 they will oblige also . It wont be the same saw .
  16. Personally my first check would be any safety features including the infeed especially if it has a hinged safety switch.
  17. US civil rights leader Jesse Jackson dies aged 84 BBC LINKY :- Jesse Jackson obituary WWW.BBC.CO.UK The US civil rights activist's influence spread from the churches of the Deep South to the White House.
  18. Are you getting voltage on the fwd rollers inside the white RDS box?
  19. Just buy new filters- I change mine on all saws without max flow kits every year or so. Small investment for an expensive bit of kit
  20. I am hoping to develop our forest school site in the primary school grounds and require tree stumps to use as seating and woodchip to make our paths safer. The delivery would be on school grounds and prior arrangements would be needed.
  21. My take on oriental manufacturing is it’s all in the QC. They’ll do it right if a white man tells them they’re not going home until they have. The more legit Chinese shopfronts like Loncin I imagine have hired western managers who won’t let shit out. Or perhaps will let shit out to markets with lower expectations. Example: I bought a box of cheap drumsticks. They’re rubbish. The grain runs out on ALL of them, so they break. They’re the reject pile. The straight grained ones were the QC pass and mine were the QC fail.
  22. Been making engines for BMW Motorcycles [parallel twins] since 2005....
  23. In fairness to councils there is a hell of a lot of admin and organisation needed to run an election. I've worked for local councils many times on local and national elections as a Presiding Officer and on counts. It is a big operation even for local elections, yes a lot is carry over but new temporary staff have to be recruited, trained and security checked and often places used as polling stations are not available so suitable new ones needed. Printing schedules are tight as candidates need to be selected, nominated and vetted and that's only just started.

I know Β£100 just feels a bit much after what Ive already spent on it. This thread prompted me to clean the air filter and try and fix it. I found that the mesh insert was out of shape and preventing a proper seal at the bottom. I also temporarily patched a hole in the metal filter with epoxy. I'll see if this stops fine dust entering and then replace both filters.
