    Clutch spring hack

Footage from the successful (if loud) M-Tronic operation this morning. Why can’t car ECUs be that easy?
  3. Bunkers, arms caches and patriotism: UK ‘not ready’ for Russian invasion, claims British ex-pat living in Finland APPLE.NEWS A British man living in Finland has warned that the UK is 'not ready' for potential Russian aggression. The weapon you mention, we are not in any way shape or form ready to defend ourselves as a nation. We waste billions yearly yet just apply sticking plasters to our armed forces. Compared to the country in the article I posted we are a joke when it comes to being prepared.
  4. I don’t think they are and to be on the safe side I’ve eased back the adjustment a tad to see if it makes any difference.
  5. trouble is the top bit goes into space and comes down in multiple glide vehicles - deepthroat required
  6. Fair enough, always worth asking 🙂. You'd be surprised at the but the engine runs but you've not used it in anger to know if everything else works, but it shows the pumps working etc.
  7. Good. So it's either a restriction in the flow or could the brakes be adjusted a bit tight, assuming they are wet discs?
  8. Yes , done a lot of work with it since repairs. heating only happening when driving long runs on road.
  9. Today
  10. Daft question, you've used the roof crane since all the work was done ?.
  11. That's near enough what I reckon too, Ukraine has been very inventive with modern tech, took Russia by surprise that they didn't just roll over, Putin can't loose face so it is a war of attrition and who runs out of hardware first I think. Putin and Trump can talk all they want bur Putin is never going to walk away with nothing.
  12. Can you see the Ukrainians agreeing to give Russia more land? Not going to happen. Can you see the Russians withdrawing and leaving what they have taken? Not going to happen. Trump has no stick that he is willing to use to change things, Putin knows this and will not do anything new till he has the land he wants - through conflict.
  13. Maybe, the usual whining by a couple of people all gets a bit samey. Like they're expecting people just to sign a piece of paper and return to how it was before Putin invaded. Looky here Chamberlain with a piece of paper, sir he's just invaded, oooh but think of the air miles.
  14. Is it getting hot? Could be censor faulty.
  15. Thanks. im thinking along similar lines. filter is genuine. was going to take out tomorrow and see, it’s like oil is bypassing and causing back pressure against the circuit .
  16. Pretty sure that post you quoted was in the wrong thread Gareth, nothing about much apart from yet another Trump whine. Talking of air miles that’s Starmer heading off again to play statesman with his paper army.
  17. No. spool kept off. thanks.
  18. get a hailo ladder they are adjustable and can be used as steps and a ladder https://www.hailo-shop.co.uk/store/ladders/combination-ladders/hailo-s100-profilot/
  19. Indeed. Not oak or douglas fir. First result on google says, "greenheart is one of the stiffest woods in the world." Curious if that's just an advantage in a timber framed house build or whether you need a bit of flex if the structure is meant to flex a bit. Presumably training for cutting them under tension and not standing in the wrong place while doing so? There are some horrible videos of people cutting steel RSJs. They've got loads of stress in them. Twang. Shin in thirty pieces.
  20. No, it's more a logical reason situation. If the man with a big stabby knife is going to get his end away with you, me thinks sucking is preferable to loosing ones cherry. It's akin to asking, amputation left arm or cock.
  21. How would you know that? It's telling that you accept that Trump is on his knees.
  22. That will be interesting to see, especially if there are any long spans in the build. I used to train one of the companies in the SE who would remove/replace sea defences made of Greenheart/Purpleheart. They could install large curved groins with huge lengths of timber being tensioned with 360’s.
