  2. Perhaps we should be defining teaching and educating better, you can teach people how to pass exams but it isn't educating them anything useful in the great scheme of things surely?
  3. Just more decent, steady tree work from a guy who shows it nicely. Particular good section on lifting rigs from 7-15 minutes.

Uniforest titanium 14 ton log splitter for sale. I bought this new from Riko UK early 2016, it's got a tail board and lights "not pictured" & weighs around 500kg I believe. We have extended the table so it's easy to work with big rings as there is plenty of room to split without dropping wood on the floor. The table can also be removed so you can either break down big rings on the floor or for splitting billets. It's been used for 2 days since 2020 and has sat in a barn out of the weather. I have as of 2 days ago done a complete service as I didn't intend to sell the machine. New air filter, spark plug, & engine oil all genuine honda & New hydraulic oil, it's all greased up and can be put straight to work. The only issues are very light surface rust where the power coating has come away in places. A wind down leg is missing "doesn't affect anything as it's not needed" & a bolt that I put in to stop the table moving about has snapped "see photo" again doesn't affect the machine. It's been a brilliant machine but I no longer have a use for it. £4000 Wakefield west Yorkshire Simon 07977114605

  5. I was following on from tree fancier saying blacks are just as teachable as anyone else, that they have the same hardware but just aren't educated to the same standard as whites, yellows, browns. I don't think they have the hardware to cope with the sorts of things the west wants to teach people. Ten blacks and ten whites, the whites will pick it up faster. Also shows in untaught critical/lateral thinking, problem solving.

  7. You know what. You're absolutely right. I'd keep my eye out for something like a second hand 088, sold by a reputable and sexually magnetic professional.
  8. Warwickshire Police back in the spotlight. | David McKELVEY | 126 comments WWW.LINKEDIN.COM Warwickshire Police back in the spotlight. This is going viral for all the wrong reasons. It would almost be... There is something very wrong with where this form of policing is heading. The officer in the clip will no doubt be in hot water and probably assigned extra training or demoted until he’s fully indoctrinated. Meanwhile in Khans multicultural paradise it took a few decent citizens to intervene and sort this scum out properly , not a sign of any BTP or Met to be seen. 730ffb5c-b6f9-4d93-8137-50dc19b91512.mov
  9. Exactly, a bit better than the usual powerline horrors if that’s possible😂
  10. Ah, so clear felling under and around lines as opposed to ‘siding up’?
  11. That looks the business! It’s ok weight wise in the tipper then?
  12. It’s felling on utility networks (powerlines) to make them “resilient” to storms/trees falling and causing damage, just a larger volume of timber to move!

  14. Anyway @kram if you want an 088 in perfect working order for your leylandii jobs I’ve got one. I’m coming over in September. Where are you in the UK. £900.
  15. The 251 and 391 aren’t professional grade saws, which explains your disappointment in them.

  18. Every chainsaw mistake I have made has been the same one. Not upgrading far enough. When my beloved, and well used 023 needed replacing, I went for a 251. A more horrible, gutless machine I have never picked up. After many years of use, either it's bedded in, or I've got used to it, but the upgrade from that one, my 261 is a delight. And a cause of sorrow. Sorrow? Upgrade from an 038, also beloved. I was rapidly steered away from the like-for-like 391, thank you all. That left 400 ( old model ) 462, and 500i. The 500i was immediately discounted, because it's far more saw than I could ever justify, isn't it? The 400 was a 20% power increase, and far lighter, no brainer, eh? I should have got either of the big ones, no question at all. Man who never made a mistake, never made anything.
  19. 50% more power, but out of the box it will be set up for longer bars with more cutters in the wood, where more torque is needed. I imagine a larger sprocket, one or two teeth up, would be required to get the chain speed where you'd see the power for smaller stuff.
  20. Great grinder. We ramp ours onto the back of a tipper bed and ratchet down to the lashing points in the bed......probably worth getting a fabricator to make some secure points. You can also tow the chipper doing it this way so one of you can be grinding while someones doing a chipper run
  21. Not meaning to sound like a dick, but when you've got arguing neighbours we just tell them to sort it out themselves then give us a call. The amount of time, energy and money these things take is never worth getting involved.
