  1. Past hour
  2. Yes, the first ones were absolute Shyte but the Mtronic ones are far better. The MS200 always benefits from a lot of grunt from low revs, the Mtronic MS201 doesn't have that but it does pull well once the revs are up....I know from porting both saws and doing timed cuts. It was close but the 200 still has it.
  3. Ex bosses drove one said itvwas quite a good drofe one, that got thr different lock in?
  4. Separate to my last post, what are people rating now? I put my 200 up on the shelf last year after 14 years of graft, replacing it with the 540 mk3. Not a fan of the husky though, the sp21 chain is annoying to sharpen and it just doesn’t have the same power or reliability. How is the 201 these days? I remember using a few when they were released and it was absolute garbage. Have they sorted them out?
  5. While I love the little echo battery, and use it all the time, I think you’re selling it a little hard there. It’s crap with a 10” bar, 8” is much better but even at that if you’re burying the whole bar the battery will last no time. Great saw, but it’s a pruner imo.
  6. Leave the mind reading to mystic mick now office boy. You do try way way too hard wee man.
  7. 😂Not at all Mark, it’s all in the delivery, the Truth 🤔I forgot that’s something possessed only by an enlightened few. Good to see “ Stephen” confirm his status. You remember the predictions of the return of the ice age Mark and the rising sea levels ?? Did the O Zone later sort itself out by the way 🤔 Excuse my cynicism Mark but when there’s profit to be had you shouldn’t always follow the science 🤷‍♂️not that long ago some very eminent scientists were totally cancelled for having an alternative view during the farce.
  8. To be honest he has moved on now. Linkedin doesn't say how to respond to a critique so better move on to a new topic and hope no one notices there is no substance or knowledge behind the linkedin posts. Though I am inclined to believe that the weight of science and worldwide research trumps a one off paper in an obscure publication. With these things always ask "what do the European, US and Russian scientists say"... and if all 3 sets tend to agree then I would go with that... and guess what... they all tend to agree with CO2 being a problem. (I say the 3 sets because they spread the political spectrum and any commercial bias is equalised a bit)
  9. Hit a house brick with a 20 inch bar 20ft up in a big Beech tree fork. Was not amused 😐.
  10. How is it condescending to point out the truth? Has he hurt your feelings?
  11. AI: as far as I can tell it is mostly a term applied to a better google search than usual - it will search, work out the most common answers and spew that out as the correct thing. Most of the time this is correct of course - ask it what is the best tool to fell a tree, probably chainsaw pops out (simple google will give the same answer), but ask it whether Stihl or Husky is the best - with a 50-50 online split one AI bot might get one result and another go the other way (I might try that later). That is it's power I reckon, summarising 100 web pages quicker than you can read one. Might look amazing but the programmers have simply worked out a way for the internet to use the internet better than we can. Big benefits: It might reference documents buried 100 results pages in the internet. Big draw back: It might reference document (rightly) buried 100 results pages in the internet. I get put off when everything is written "as AI" produced when a simple search will do the same... makes me think they are jumping on a bandwagon when they don't know what they are doing (but hope we don't either), but there are some things that have impressed - though the google search would give me the same it is the time saving aspect. A few words there but I think there is no 'I', intelligence, applied by the computers really (that was done by the programmers), the machines arn't taking over this week because they can do a google search. As a side thing, our work sends out warnings about the big companies - Facebooks, Linkedins, and so on harvesting your data, what you look for and what you type are sent back for 'AI' learning... money talks and the driver for this is to sell us stuff. That might be the next big thing, 'AI' powered targeted ads written in exactly the same way you will type into the social medias.
  12. Today
  13. I have a Stihl 362 which i purchased in 2013 which came with a one piece exhaust muffler, will a two piece exhaust muffler that comes on the 362c saw fit my saw, thanks Keith
  14. Hi all, I purchased a brand new echo ground saw recently and I have noticed that the gunsights 'felling sights' are misaligned with the bar. I am unabled to position the bar in a way that would realign. It's really throwing me off my game. Historically, I've consistently dropped trees within inches of a target with little to no thought, but with this saw, if I follow the gunsights the trees are falling feet off of target. Has anyone got any advice and has anyone experienced a similar issue? Cheers all.
  15. Sounds like you need a Delica!
  16. The condescending leftard prick gene is strong within you 42 on this topic very much like it was with Covid, like it is with illegal immigration, like it is with politics etc etc etc. What’s your enlightened take on this one then. Seeing as your comprehension is off the scale. I’ll not bother even posting the link to the illegal afghan that killed the innocent guy in the triple stabbing as all I’ll get is the standard “ Whataboutery “. 🚨ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC CALL🚨 A London woman calls in and cries her eyes out in desperation "WE'RE NOT RACIST WE'RE PETRIFIED" "WHAT ARE THESE POLITICIANS DOING TO US. THEY'RE PUTTING EVERYONE IN… | João Neves WWW.LINKEDIN.COM 🚨ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC CALL🚨 A London woman calls in and cries her eyes out in...
  17. Don't fall for another one Davey. That has all the hallmarks. "Science of Climate Change Journal " - really? Did that seem like a neutral, considered post to you? The author sounds far from unbiased to me. You'd do well to read some of the comments on your LinxedIn stuff, to give yourself a chance at comprehension of the subject, before you stick it on here.
  18. Skoda yetty 4x4?
  19. Not seen the berlingo van, derived thing but I guess its like the freelander all electronics and tech stuff like that , Jimnys are ok , buy ive not put hers to the test of towing , plus also new they dont do 4 seater or auto . And hers is a bit cramped also 1.3 engine! I know what u mean about things being too long like the Japanese crew cab pickups not great for double gates , What about turning your defender into a station wagon? If u can get bits
  20. Albania's AI minister is 'pregnant with 83 children', says prime minister METRO.CO.UK Just your average day in 2025. 😯
  21. The Duster is very common here so they should be easy to pick one up, don’t know anyone who owns one and puts it to work though. There is a Berlingo/Boxer van option here called a Dangel which is 4x4, used by just about everyone in farming/agriculture, Forestry England have a some of them over in Norfolk, although they are not generally imported, can’t understand why.
  22. Could be worse.
  23. A mix, a few Scots pines, most are spruce though. The ones I have were never managed and thinned so a lot are falling over now - which will be replaced as and when I get to it. Squirrels - never thought of that, we only have about half a dozen at any one time (local fox, cats, crows and buzzards, road see to a lot for their control)
  24. Out and about I found this.
  25. Partners owned ,had one as a paramedic for off road events you wouldn't have one as a paramedic if they were shite. Im not bickering, or arguing ,u asked someone for advice thats it . And when you see whats out there currently not ideal really
