  6. Strange occurrence on my oldest 2016 MS 261 it didn't just unwind to my knowledge, it was running great but suddenly the sparkplug popped out and saw dead. I tried red loctite, that lasted until the saw got properly hot again. Is there anything else I can do to fix the sparkplug in, tap out a wider hole or some permanent metal glue perhaps before consigning it to the parts bin ? I could do with an old near valueless saw to keep at my wood storage for occasional use. It's only ever been run on Aspen On the plus side, I now have a damn good excuse to buy a new saw, been over two years since I did that Cheers Stuart

    Chickens?

Generally East maybe . Here in West Sussex its Toby . When I was keepering I had a fox get into a partidge pen . Killed all 50 odd birds in a frenzy biting the heads off them . Must have taken one .

    Chickens?

    I’m guessing stoat mate
  14. Not sure if this is the best place either, but honestly that sounds like a really solid service call. Hihi
  15. Yes, true, though I will drive it in reverse for the most part which will limit that and can open the infeed to lower the weight on the drawbar. Jockey is due for replacement anyway so I might look at fatter model. The original one fell apart very quickly and the current one is a design that folds up as you wind it. Bit close to the truck and the winder has been hit a few times. I'm sceptical about the longevity of the control box given heat and vibrations.

    Chickens?

That’s Charlie isn’t it? I left the headless one out for 36 hours and it moved a few times so it’s something strong enough to drag a chicken but not strong enough to carry one. And only a bit of it eaten. Littler nibbles than a fox would take I’d have thought.
  17. Nice. I always feel the jockey wheel digging in on soft surfaces is going to be the big problem with that set up.
  18. Stubby

    Chickens?

    Fox .

    Chickens?

Aye. Very vexing. What’s Toby? I’m too posh to know rural slang.
  20. If you want to go full conspiracy theory, it’s the government, arms, logistics and energy industries, driving demand for electricity for pointless computing, in turn driving demand for oil (and consequent profitable conflicts to get it). Or it’s a computer that just wanted to see if the answer was still the same. Or just churning more answers for better averaging.
  21. I think its just fkucaboutary for fkucaboutarys sake .
  22. Stubby

    Chickens?

So Sorry mate . Heads off is usually Toby .
  23. That’s very sad, sorry.

    Chickens?

Ferret (probably) back. Two killed last night and one beheaded a couple of nights before. As with most conflicts, my well bred roosters roosted high and safe and let the lower orders get slaughtered.
  25. Ridgeline soaks up the water in the outer material like a sponge. Have a had a Hoggs smock which was fairly decent but couldn't go all day.
  26. the "jimi Hendrix" style of chainsaw operation, wait until he uses his teeth! and then lights it on fire.
