We lost about 400 apples in the last storm (sad enough to count them...) - not quite there to eat but stewed they will do for pies and crumbles - and they freeze OK stewed up. Not tried yet, but I believe sliced they will freeze just as well like that.

Not sure the Epstein thing will kill him off, if the voters were to be persuaded that he was conspiring with Maxwell to keep Epsteins crimes away from the courts they would have been persuaded by now. Not to say that moving on with Trumps many other failings makes him innocent, politically there is little more to be gained I think. Would need a video of Trump in the act as it were. I think the game plan now is to make Vance electable, spend the next 3 years working on that.

I had a stumpgrinder tooth fly past my head at high velocity. Maybe stop wanking over Trump.

Back again. I had done 2hrs30min since 'repairing' the engine. The last stump was on a slope and the machine cut out 3 times so I checked the oil 'Oy Vey, Allah Akbar, Mon Dieu and FFS !' to cover all bases... Oil level low. It took 500ml Ran it up again to finish the last stump but it lacked power and the stump being very fibrous made for a dismal hour or so. Back home, checked the valve clearances and was surprised to find them well out yet the nuts are tight. I've reset the valves, it runs fine but now light but obvious dark smoke when throttle opened. Oil vapour from valve cover is inside the part between carb and air filter. So I think I will change the engine and strip the old one down this Winter and earn my Boy Scouts tinkering badge. Meanwhile, I'd like to replace the engine with an electric start version. I see an option with oil bath filter. Is this worthwhile or even practical on a grinder? Please post your answers either here, or on a postcard to: Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, BBC TV Centre, London W12 8QT

Conspiracy theories on here make the Covid thread seem tame in comparison. Gunshot wound, ballistic and medical experts on an arb forum. Who would have thought it. Not one of which I’d imagine has ever had the chance to hear the buzz or crack of a bullet pass by at close range. In case anyone doesnt realise the vascular supply to the head “ and ears” does tend to result in a lot of blood from even a small wound., Maybe show the pic of the ketchup bottle to the kids and widow of the guy killed in the audience.

The Epstein thing (is it 12 weeks since Musk called him a nonce?), or his dementia will see him off. It's been well planned. MAGA wouldn't have voted for JD Vance. Now that the "Tech Bro's" are in charge, they can press on with their AI driven, surveillance state.

Polytunnel a jungle. Didn’t stake well enough. Just put a few in at the last possible moment and hoped. Hope is not a strategy. IMG_5871.MOV

Dumper, Ah, the site at the outfarm is good soil on top of basalt rock, like the well is cut into the living rock, right from ground level down, but our homeplace is on rank moss/ pure peat, with blue/ grey clay beneath. Cheers -
Hard wood and chips please

Chicken with Cashew curry. Proper authentic Indian recipe. Note. Spoon purchased from a guy at last year's APF, carved from Alder I think he said. It's holding up very well considering it gets used almost on a daily basis. Where's your curry @AHPP

Not convinced me, one dryads saddle at the base of the tree would be deeply weird. "The tree is in my garden", then they seem to have a road in the garden as well.....

It has been fairly clear this time around that -given the same security knowledge Biden had, and he had before- his view of the world and the US is at odds with what is happening in reality. Things like recently the 'crime wave' in Washington where a week later the National Guard were litter picking are a good example of reality not matching what is in his head. Someone else is passing on a world view to him. It is also well known that he never actually reads any briefs in the first place... the world outside the Whitehouse isn't given in bare facts, but is narrated by whose turn it is to translate facts to him. The forces behind him arn't mysterious and shadows, Vance is a big force in persuading him and behind Vance are the likes of Thiel. Makes sense though that Vance shapes the current administration if he is tipped to lead the next. You're right though, not a mysterious conspiracy but in plain sight that he is being manipulated from behind. I've often referred to the 'emperors new clothes'.. which is what I see happening.

I never tried any other saws, didn’t try this 1. I just buy stuff. it’s on a 6t machine. used it today around the yard cutting back some overhang. Just amazing sitting cutting and lifting limbs knowing how much time and effort it saves.

Both the same machines i think.
