Could the Epping asylum hotel injunction set a precedent for other councils? APPLE.NEWS Ministers are bracing for the potential of further legal challenges over asylum hotels, after Epping Forest... Letβs hope so, it will be interesting to see how hard Labour fights this.

Suggest a firewood saw please
Peter 1955 replied to devonbrion1998's topic in Log burning stoves and fireplaces
I know absolutely nothing about Husky. 400 is always my first suggestion. Don't know about the 400.1 Second suggestion is 261. I'm curious to know what the 400 died of. -

Joe Newton started following SHOW YOUR SAWS, OLD AND NEW.

Glad it'll be getting some use. Thank you for your (almost) unwavering patience! At least the forum now has definitive proof that you're not an AI bot π

Hi all Been a Stihl man for years now,but just testing the water for a new or second hand mid range firewood saw I have been running a 400c lovely saw can fault it, but sadly it's died . Normally like to stick to 15/16" bar Never had any luck at all with huskies At all,but willing to listen your opinions Thanks Guys

Iβve never owned any but have handled them, very nice build quality and those Japanese know a thing or two about making a blade that holds an edge.

Not quite as impressive a picture as some of you post, but my back thinks itβs very impressive! Thatβs a ten tonne farm trailer three quarters full of chippings. The house now has loads more natural light, doesnβt seem hemmed in, and hopefully will sell better.

Ever tried Niwaki?

My Grandfather shared your sentiment Mark. Even went so far as to light sugarcane fields to flush them out.

It is quite therapeutic cutting the hovering bastards in half with a sharp pair of Felcos.

These were European. Shame they had to go really, they arenβt usually a problem. Asian ones are a different matter, apparently they can kill up to 50 bees every day! Iβd destroy those bastards without a thought.

I did receive some guidance, training and experience with the m8. Quite impressive. So I bought an F2 with extensions. My forest is an hour walk from my house. Loved setting up my lumber camp, dialing in and adjusting my lumber mill. Then I encountered problems. Like the plastic guiding rails for the sled. Or the fine adjustment of the log lifter. I did ask logosl. The response from customer support has been anything but welcoming or apologetic. More accusative. I can now cut imprecise and insecure. That is my takeaway. So good on logosol, taking away the enjoyment of cutting down slow grown 70 year old Norwegian spruce to fix up my barn. I've already decided to sell the chainsaw mill. I will acquire a band saw mill and continue with my project, but I want to feel relatively safe. Consider this as a reaction to a horrible customer support and a general safety concern which has not been taken seriously.

Fairly strong nightmare fuel.

And.... I have always wanted a new F2 and so if they are a bit unworthy...I'll stick with my Panther Chainsawmill. π

alles ist gut. Understood. Safety is No1. I have had no cause to question my Mill or its engineering before. Both were second hand ( not new) where yours does look new. I would be asking my dealer this question.

Yes, it was a strange first meeting at this forum. I do appreciate your apology. Pardon me for my latest reply.

my neighbor ask me if I could teach his missus how to start a chainsaw, of course I agreed, but she hasn't quite got the hang of it yet,,, I've asked her to come back tomorrow for another lesson.

I understand. Since its chainsaw mill I should expect and accept offsets of the parts necessary to assemble this mill carrying a 91,1cc 5,4kW chainsaw. If 6 machine screws are the nominal value, why shouldn't 5 screws to the trick. Good on you, laughing at a legitimate safety concern.
