  9. It might be a while before I can post anything guys, I was taking my evening walk and I saw this huge beam of strange light in the dark evening sky, I went closer to where it was shining directly on the ground and suddenly it sort of made me feel really odd and actually started to lift me upwards and towards it's source, It seemed to take ages but I saw a huge craft unlike anything I had ever seen,,, I think I may have gone unconscious shortly afterwards. when I awoke I found myself surrounded by a small group of the most beautiful women I have ever seen, "we wish you no harm" the leader said, "our race is dying as nearly all our men were killed in a galactic battle that has lasted many years, we need handsome, virile, intelligent males of a species like us to breed with to save our race" So guys, I don't think many of you are in any danger,, I just wanted to let you know,,,this spaceship is feckin' awesome.
  10. Hi, i am in my mid 20's been working a Arborist for over 3 years now across the south of UK, i started with no experience, my employer put me through the usual tickets (ariel rescue, chainsaw maintenance and cross cut, small fell, chain saw from rope and harness and first aid with forestry) I work for a small company there is 3 of us employed, the boss, myself and apprentice lad who joined within the last few months who i am training, we have subbys in when the boss is not around, i am responsible to delegate the work to them and call the shots so to speak, even though they are getting paid alot more. I am climbing most days and in charge when the boss is not there, the boss man is not around usually 1-3 times a week when he is quoting and doing admin, I am responsible for the work to be done to a high standard. It would be fair for me to say that i have a good attitude towards work, i do not arrive late, I've taken 3 sick days in the last 3 years and i always look to learn and push myself, I have been asked to do some crane work that is coming up. I am currently getting paid £110per day i am employed and on PAYE so my tax is paid and NI my take home at the end of the month is £1928 but I cannot help but feel like I'm being underpaid for what i do and the value i bring to the company. Am i being paid fairly for what i am doing? I appreciate this may be vague and not give a full picture to make a judgement, please ask me questions if you wanna know more.

    Jokes???

A frog gets his DNA tested... turns out he's a bit Irish, part Swedish, and a tad Pole.
  12. Just play along.
  13. Strange post..
  14. I'll put this here to save starting another thread, I bid on a little McCulloch last week, mainly because I needed a few bits for the one I have already, looked all there but "doesn't turn over" so it was cheap, less than the price of 20 cigs at todays prices. so I unpacked it today and sure enough it's locked solid, so I remove the plug cap thinking I'll squirt some fuel in the bore and see if it'll free up, and there's a piston stop screwed in it, I remove it and it turns over perfectly, and it has a good spark, and great compression, it's in better nick than the one I hoped to repair, so that will be the donor to this one, I'll pull it apart properly tomorrow and I expect it will be running by the afternoon, all being well.
  15. I fear there won't be enough data to answer this properly but let's try. Which assessors have you witnessed failing a candidate (you or someone else on your assessment)? Just name the institution/assessor or explain more if you want. More than one ticket, more than one institution etc, brief explainer please. Nobody will read anything into only naming and not explaining so nobody needs to fear ridicule for failing a course.
  16. Very, very ordinary rabbits, fox, deer on a farm. Nothing weird. There are two phases of my firearms licensed life. Down south, I was deferent and meek and rewarded with a mentor, closed ticket, knocked back for things etc. Up north, I took a different approach from the start. They firmly know they work for me and that I expect to get what I want, on time or I machine gun letters off to anyone who can make their life hard. MUCH better results. But if you're a bitch and only get rimfire, take heart. Rimfire is the best.
  17. Both the Doosan and Bobcat are on starship mileage at those hours. 3500 and 4000 hours are a lot for a machine that size. deffo a five gallon refurb on that bobcat too. id go with a 500 hour sany for the same money for sure. Will be a newer machine too.

  19. I concur on both counts. Out of interest, what's your "good reason"? I'm going in with both bases covered but it looks like I'll be limited to rimfire for a while at least.
  20. I've known of the odd unscrupulous gamekeeper to shoot owls with a shotgun, but setting out to take an owl with a rifle seems like a bit of a non starter. Ocams Razor: the simplest solution is generally the correct one. To me there are a good few other potential causes.
  21. With wings! Doesn't get more serious than that does it? Eurovision: the ultimate geopolitical stage.
