Hi i am trying to use the tip site section on arbtalk. To search fkr sites to tip logs too. But when I try and click on the blue circles it comes up with an orange box with some details for the tip site but no ways of contacting? Is this a service I have to pay for? any help would be appreciated.

I personally think the Reflex looks awesome as a "one device does everything" affair. I'll be giving it a few months while the keen kids are guinea pigs though.

Any mechanical will self tend. It can be a double edged sword like that. If your lad wanted the best of both worlds I'd suggest a hitchclimber setup with a 75cm e2e tied with a catalyst hitch. Requires a bit more user input but that not the worst thing in the world. Until you want to pull slack into your system for any reason and the device just eats it.

Not just Greenland, the entire Artic region, from what I've just read!

For what you might spend on a mog (and considering you don’t necessarily want the utility Stephen mentions) have you considered electric?

And now for some new news… Trump has declared on social media this evening that the framework of a deal for the USA to acquire Greenland has been reached with the NATO secretary general. What the Dane’s think of this I have no idea!

Maybe we can put the sex offences one to bed by remembering that data from all 43 UK police forces confirmed that men of Pakistani heritage were between 200% and 400% more likely to be perpetrators of grooming and related offences than the general population. Apparently it is even known where these men originate - the Mirpur region as they have a very different culture there even than most of Pakistan. And of course ethnicity and skin colour are irrelevant; or should be. But the point is that men of certain ethnicities were being protected by the establishment for fear of stirring racial tensions. That is why ethnicity was brought into it. Every perpetrator should have been treated equally - but they were not.

Anyone using one of these yet? I’m thinking of getting my young climber one. Like me he cannot abide the ZZ because of its self tending, so was wondering if it self tended at all?

Hopefully no one minds me changing the subject plus it's not today's news but I think it's worth a look. Just over two weeks away from going back to the moon! Artemis Archives - NASA WWW.NASA.GOV

Some of the mk7 transits have traction control, if you start spinning you gently apply the throttle and it sorts itself out. I am lucky that my transit has low ratio diff perfect for the intricacies of rural Exmoor but it does have it's limitations as in uneven, off camber or loose surfaces can see you spinning up. A proper low box would be proper job. I suppose difflock with a heavy load on board would see your wheels unable to slip which would put a lot of stress on the drivetrain, probably less of a problem unladen

Pseudoinonotus would likely be the most likely. It all year round, it doesn't breakdown and go brown like wot is in the picture.

For clarity I never said the last bit,[highlighted in red ] you added that to further your blatant vendetta against Johnsond. for some reason this seems to bother you more than the plight of the victims. your constant skewing of statistics to discredit him are obvious as they are pathetic, the percentage of white people in the uk is substantially more than non whites, but the number of rapists in the smaller group is percentage wise greater. if the two groups were equal in number the true facts would be impossible to conceal by skewing numbers and statistics. this country is heading for the bottom in every respect, some people can't or simply refuse to admit it, and prefer to refute what more and more people are realising. please don't misquote me in future to further you personal grudges against Johnsond or anyone else.

so a diff lock should not be used unless the front wheels are straight and even then it could still cause thousands of pounds worth if damage - for expert use only.

No, not of kits, but a loaded truck /van whatever , on a hard surfaced drive perhaps with twists or turns and a locked diff , if a wheel can't slip somethings going to go bang. Hopefully will be halfshaft as they're cheaper to replace than gearbox pinions etc. And yes have blown 2 , one on an older series landrover and the other on a much later td5 defender. There's a time and a place for locked diffs - usually once you're in the shit!,
-
no idea - you have experience of these diff lock kits?
-
So he'll need a set of halfshafts as well as a new clutch soon then, something with hi/low ratio is really what he needs. Becoming harder to find at sensible prices.

I turned one down today too - was doing a standard Connie hedge top and trim, not been done for three years, very patchy and poor condition. First time we’ve done it and the customer is delighted with what we managed to achieve. the next door neighbour has exactly the same continuation of the line and we did them 6 years ago - not touched them since. Was a nightmare to climb through, no footholds, 15ft wide. He knocked me down on price (my mistake accepting that), quibbled over price for fencing we supplied and was generally a pain. He asked me to do his as well straight after today, in the pouring rain - err no! What not today? No not at all - not interested and I recommended he calls someone else. Found out that the kitchen fitter, and a bathroom fitter have both refused to quote him for further work so reckon I dodged a bullet there 👍

Sometimes the most important jobs are the ones you turn down Mick. You’re well out of it. He sounds like the sort of tight-fisted prick who would come after you for every single further ounce of damage that may occur during the takedown.
